Bang On A Can Summer Music Festival 2017

BIG NEWS!!

I probably should have announced it a while back, but I've been selected for a fellowship with Bang on a Can!

I'm very excited to have flown to the USA last Friday for a three week residency with the amazing new-music ensemble Bang on a Can as part of their Summer Music Festival at MASS MoCA!!!!!

To work with and have my music performed by them is a dream come true (their music, projects, and general ethos has long been a huge inspiration of mine) and I'm very excited to have my new quasi-concerto for saxophone and ensemble "Summer Summer" featured as part of the Festival. I'm also super keen to explore and have my music performed in the beautiful MASS MoCA, now one of the largest contemporary art museums in the world and home to so many stunning artworks by the likes of James Turrell, Sol Lewitt, and the crazy thing pictured by Nick Cave.

Stay tuned for travel photos and updates from the Festival...
