Excited to announce that I've been selected as one of four composers to take part in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's Cybec Foundation Composer Program! As part of this, I have received a commission for a new work, to be premiered in concert by MSO in January 2017.

Connor's work is being featured on CutCommon's new online music store. Scores, such as his award winning String Quartet No. 2 and Chamber Symphony No. 1, and recordings, including his String Quartet No. 1, are available to purchase and download.
Connor D’Netto has been named by Chamber Music Australia the winner of the inaugural Australian New Works Award for his String Quartet No. 2 in E minor, along with Michael Bakrnčev for his Piano Trio No. 2 Janino. The award was established as part of the 7th Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition with the support of Monash University and CMA Chairman, Julian Burnside AO QC.
In the lead up to Paint in Red | 9, a collaboration between the musical and visual arts communities of Brisbane, I had the pleasure for chatting to one of the featured artists, Lucy Tyler, to talk about creating art, music, and what its live to create live reaction artworks.
